(More customer reviews)The Magellan Roadmate Universal floor mount was a snap to install.All I had to do was loosen one seat bolt at the front of the passengers seat rail, slide the bracket under the bolt, tighten it down again and done!The flexible gooseneck allows me to position the unit so I can easily access it while not interfering with the passenger nor obstructing my view as would be the case if mounted on the windshield.

DODGE RAM QUAD CAB Q-Logic Custom Subwoofer Enclosure UNLOADED for 1-10" Sub Q-Customs DQC110 (Passenger Side) Review

(More customer reviews)I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab, and this Q-Logic box fits like a glove! It only takes a few minutes to install, and looks awesome. With the seat down, you don't even notice it's there. I loaded it with a JL Audio 10WX-4 and powered it with a JL Audio J2 250.1.

Just to give some perspective of how it blends with the rest of my system here is what I have. There are Infinity Reference 5032cf (5-1/4" 2-ways) in the rear doors, and Infinity Reference 5030cs (5-1/4" components) in the front doors. I'm driving those purely from my head unit which is a Dual XHD7714 (17 watts RMS). Thanks to Infinity's 2-ohm design, there is plenty of power for them to keep up with the sub.

I have the gain on the amp at 50%, and the crossover at 80hz. This system kicks ass (literally) and is VERY clean. Granted I'll never win any sound level competitions with this setup, but I'm not trying to blow the doors off...I'm simply trying to get a full body sound. With this Q-Logic box I have accomplished my goal and gained the bottom end I never had before.

I got them for the detail and the color scheme which makes a perfect pair with the all black leather interior in my car (plus I have the Love Kills steering wheel cover). Even standing outside, with the platinum glass coating on my windows, you see the details very clearly and they look really really cool. The patchoulli scented one that reads love is a gamble is the first I have used, it's been hanging on my rear view mirror nearly 6 wks (in this Louisiana sun) and it hasn't began to fade (scent nor color) as of yet.

The mono 800 watt amp I bought to hook it up with is great but it does get hot. Other than that the system is bangin' so I recommend it to all. Discount Jungle also got it to arrive 2 days before they said it would. 5 stars all the way. FEEL THE BASS!!!!

Clarion OHM1075VD#R 10.4-Inch Overhead Monitor with DVD Player (Refurbished) Review

(More customer reviews)I recently bought a used minivan. The DVD player wasn't working- replacements are upwards of $800 at the dealership!?!?! Looked around and even cheaper DVD players are more than double what I paid for this (refurbished) unit.

I searched around and found this GEM, and after using it a couple times, am Very Impressed.
-Picture quality is great!
-Headphones seem comfortable, and work anywhere you can see the screen.
-Installation was fairly simple, using a metal plate and pre-run power cables already in my van from the previous install. The screws that came with the unit are perfect- they are self-drilling through metal. (DON'T just screw it into the roof though!!!) The wiring is plenty long and high-quality, with shrink-wrap even! (Just use a HOT hair dryer once everything is installed.)
-Plenty of video options. There are 2 A/V in and 1 A/V out- including a cable long enough to run down into even the biggest van/SUV for a game system, vcr, satellite TV, whatever. You could use ANOTHER A/V cable and have two different sources!
-It plays MPEG, WMV, and SOME AVI movies on burnt CDs and DVDs.!!!!!
-Packaging was very very professional, the unit looked brand new.

Possible CONS-
-No instruction manual in the box. It was very hard to find on the Clarion website, search never found the model number. Look under 2007 products- [...]
-No RF modulator, needed for playing the audio on the Car's stereo system. -But it comes with 2 pair of headphones. -But do kids want to wear rather large headphones for a Long time?
-No regular headphone jack for other headphones. (You can buy more IR headphones on ebay, amazon, etc...)
-No A/V jack. It's all wiring on the "top" (as mounted) of the unit. So you either have cables hanging or have to install them to somewhere.
-90 day warranty.

I rate the unit 5/5 based on the price and features.

I spent more time trying to figure out where to locate the alarm than the actual installation took.Be sure to have all the remotes ready when the system is initially powered on so you can get them programmed on the first try.Once installed, I noticed that the motion sensor alarm was chirping several times during each cool-down period after I rode the bike and set the alarm.Not sure if this is typical of other users, but I ended up lowering the sensitivity to the middle of the seven step range as described in the directions.This seems to help prevent the inadvertent alarms but it does take a much stronger shake to get the alarm to go off now.Probably need to raise the sensitivity a notch or two.The range on the pager is probably more like a few hundred feet if you're in a building next to the motorcycle.In an open area with scattered buildings it might be close to a quarter mile.The one feature I'd really like to see them add is a battery backup.Other than that I think it's a great product, especially at this price point, and would readily recommend it to others.
